Gameplay of Granny: Chapter Two
Granny: Chapter Two is designed in a first-person perspective. You play as a mysterious person who is captured and imprisoned in a dilapidated house. Your mission is to find a way to escape. However, inside the house are two monsters named Granny and Grandpa, along with other smaller monsters. You can take them down with the gun. But if you do that, several consequences may occur.
If you are caught, you will be knocked out and the game will move to the next day. Granny: Chapter Two gives you 5 days to escape the house. Therefore, if you are caught a sixth time, you will be truly finished and the game will end.
Your enemies in Granny: Chapter Two
Granny and Grandpa are the two main antagonists in Granny: Chapter Two and also the greatest danger to you. Both will move around trying to prevent you from escaping their house. If you let either of them catch you, they will do something and eventually execute you. Granny has been present since the first game in the series. In Granny: Chapter Two, Grandpa is added, doubling the game’s difficulty.
Additionally, Granny: Chapter Two also features The Child and Water Monster. While their danger level is much lower, they appear in places you need to go and cause a lot of trouble.
Granny with the bat
At the beginning of each day in Granny: Chapter Two, Granny always appears in the master bedroom, then wanders around the house looking for you. Granny has excellent hearing. Similar to Granny, if Grandpa sees you, he will chase you until you take him down or get out of his sight. Additionally, Grandpa will speak when he detects you. This will help you realize if you are being chased by Grandpa and find a way to escape.
Grandpa wields a crowbar. He moves very fast and has very powerful attacks. If you let Grandpa catch you, he will hit you, causing you to spin twice.
The Child
The Child appears in Granny: Chapter Two as an enemy. In the game, The Child remains in a fixed position and inadvertently becomes an obstacle when you want to collect items in that area. The Child won’t attack you if you’re holding a piece of meat. Conversely, if you have nothing, it will bite you. The Child’s bite won’t kill you, but will stun you for a few seconds. At the same time, both Granny and Grandpa will immediately locate you.
Knock The Child down will cause both Granny and Grandpa to always know your location, no matter where you are or where you’re hiding. This effect only ends when you are defeated.
Water Monster
This is Granny and Grandpa’s pet in Granny: Chapter Two. It’s depicted as a monstrous creature with three tentacles and a mouth full of teeth, looking quite terrifying. It lurks beneath the sewage and is difficult to spot until you get close enough. A single bite from it will take you down, matching the strength of Granny and Grandpa.
