PushSB is a sports game centered around freestyle skateboarding. The game was developed and published for mobile devices by an independent game developer known as surfing_pools.

Character states in PushSB
In PushSB, the character has two main states: skateboarding and walking. The skateboarding state serves as the core of the gameplay, allowing you to perform tricks and move at high speed. Meanwhile, the walking state is not directly tied to the trick system, but it gives the character greater mobility to choose a suitable position before starting a run on the skateboard.
In addition, while in the walking state, the character can use their hands to pick up and move objects around the level. This feature allows you to clear obstacles that interfere with your skating path or rearrange parts of the environment to create more favorable terrain for performing tricks.
Basic control mechanics
PushSB provides a virtual joystick in the bottom-left corner of the screen for controlling the character. While in the skateboarding state, you can drag the joystick left or right to steer and rotate the character in the corresponding direction. Pulling the joystick backward allows you to switch the character’s stance between Goofy Stance and Regular Stance, similar to how real-life skateboarders change their leading foot.
To gain speed, you need to press and hold the virtual “Push” button before releasing it. When performing this action, the character uses one foot to push off and build momentum forward. The longer you hold the button, the stronger the push will be after release, allowing the skateboard to reach higher speeds.
While skateboarding, you can also pull the joystick upward to perform a technique called “Pumping”. This action makes the character lower their center and lean forward in order to maintain the skateboard’s speed without needing to keep pushing with their foot.
Performing tricks in PushSB
The trick system in PushSB is designed to be both creative and relatively complex, requiring some time for players to fully master. The game features several different trick categories, including Flip Tricks, Manuals & Power Slides, Grabs, as well as Grinds & Slides. Performing these techniques requires players to combine multiple inputs such as joystick controls, screen swipes, and precise timing.
The effectiveness of each trick also depends on various factors, including jump force, skateboard speed, and the surrounding terrain. Without proper control over these elements, the character may fall either during the trick itself or after landing.

Marker feature in PushSB
This is a small but extremely useful feature in PushSB. The game provides a virtual button with an icon similar to the location marker symbol commonly seen in map applications. Players can press and hold this button to set a marker at the character’s current position.
Once the marker has been set, simply tapping the same virtual button will instantly teleport you back to the marked location, no matter where you are in the stage. Thanks to this feature, players can quickly return to desired areas without having to travel manually, saving a significant amount of time and allowing them to focus more on performing tricks – the core element of the game.
