The setting in Paranormal Inc.: Case File 01
Stepping into Paranormal Inc.: Case File 01, we enter the perspective of a paranormal investigator. Our current job is simply to monitor cameras and search, explore, and decipher mysteries. Specifically, in this game, we are tasked with observing the security cameras in a house where a family has mysteriously disappeared after a weekend getaway. Hopefully, with the cameras placed throughout the house, we can find the answer to this mysterious disappearance.
Gameplay
After playing Paranormal Inc.: Case File 01 for a while, I personally found the gameplay to be quite simple. We simply become the camera monitor. There are six cameras placed in different areas of the house, and your job is to carefully observe them. If you notice anything unusual, such as strange sounds, the appearance of shadows, or screen interference, report it accurately. Your superiors will process it and provide further clues. If your report is accurate, the paranormal phenomenon will be eliminated, and you can continue exploring the other cameras.
Supernatural Phenomena
Paranormal Inc.: Case File 01 features gameplay that requires patience because supernatural phenomena don’t appear immediately. Sometimes, simply switching to a different camera might cause you to miss something. These supernatural phenomena don’t appear randomly; they’re usually linked to a specific time and location. It’s worth noting that if you observe a camera for too long, a mysterious voice will appear as a warning, and the game may end if you don’t switch to another camera. This can be considered a horror-style AFK warning.
Of course, there are many other supernatural phenomena waiting for you to discover in other rooms. Some common occurrences include shadowy figures in the hallway, objects in the kitchen moving on their own, etc. The realistic security camera perspective can sometimes be unsettling. Therefore, consider this before playing the game.
Anomaly Report
It can be said that submitting reports when paranormal phenomena occur is one of your tasks at Paranormal Inc.: Case File 01. These contribute to finding new clues in this mysterious disappearance. As mentioned above, these paranormal phenomena can appear randomly and unexpectedly. When they first appear, quickly open Report Anomaly and select the appropriate items. Specifically, these items include:

Light on/off, Door opened/closed, Window opened/closed, Device on/off, Cabinet door opened/closed, Drawer opened/closed, Shadow: Phenomena related to the door system and equipment in the room.
