Atomas Neo is a ball-shooter game developed and published by Sirnic. The game is themed around chemical elements, a very creative theme that few other games explore.

Ball-shooting gameplay
Atomas Neo’s basic gameplay is quite similar to PopCap’s popular Zuma game, but simpler in level design and more complex in mechanics. In Atomas Neo, you use a fusion device to combine atoms. This device has a core containing an atom ready to be fired. Surrounding the core is a circular slot containing atoms that can be combined. Your task is to fire the atom from the core into the circular slot. The new atom in the slot will be pushed to occupy a position between two existing atoms and remain there.
Positive and negative charged particles
After firing a few atoms, there’s a probability that a positively charged particle (red, symbol “+”) or a negatively charged particle (blue, symbol “-“) will appear in the core. In Atomas Neo, these are two extremely important particles, helping you combine the atoms and reduce the number of atoms in the circular slot.
For a positively charged particle, you need to shoot it between two identical atoms. The positively charged particle will then combine with the two identical atoms to form a new atom that is the next element in the periodic table. For example, two hydrogen (H) atoms combine to form a helium (He) atom. If after the combination, the newly formed atom is again between two identical atoms, the combination process continues. The combination process ends if the newly formed atom is no longer between any identical atoms.
In Atomas Neo, the negatively charged particle allows you to attract any atom within the circular slot. When a negatively charged particle appears in the core, you can select an atom to attract it into the core. Then, you can touch the attracted atom to turn it into a positively charged particle. You can also select any location within the circular slot to shoot the attracted atom out of the core, but it doesn’t create a positively charged particle. Depending on the number of identical atoms adjacent in the circular slot, you can choose between turning an atom into a positive charge or attracting an atom and shooting it to another location.

In Atomas Neo, the game ends when the number of atoms in the circular slot reaches 20. However, there are no milestones to win in Atomas Neo. Instead, the game has a scoring system. You will receive points each time you successfully combine two atoms to create a new one. Try to score as many points as possible. Points will help you unlock more content in Atomas Neo.
Realm mechanism in Atomas Neo
You can unlock a Realm each time you create an atom of the element specified by the game. There are a total of 9 Realms, corresponding to the elements F, Cl, Mn, Rb, In, Pm, Re, Ac, and Rg. Each time you unlock a Realm, you will get to choose one of three upgrades for your equipment. These upgrades mainly relate to the probability of positively and negatively charged particles appearing. In addition, special particles will also have a probability of appearing in the core after you unlock a Realm.
