Raid: Shadow Legends features turn-based tactical gameplay. In battle, your and the enemy’s units take turns performing actions. Each time it’s your turn, the game will sequentially assign champion units to your team. When a champion is assigned, choose one of the skills in the bottom left corner of the screen for them to use. After a champion completes their action, the next champion in the team will be assigned. When all champions in your team have completed their actions, your turn ends and the game switches to your opponent’s turn. The same mechanism applies to the enemy team as well.
Attack mechanism
A champion unit only attacks an enemy unit if you use their attack skill. Attack skills can deal damage to one or multiple targets. The power of the attack depends on the champion’s ATK (Attack) and the target’s DEF (Defense). Additionally, the attack has a critical hit probability, which depends on the C. Rate (Critical Rate). When a critical hit occurs, the attack’s power is amplified based on the C.DMG (Critical Damage) stat.
Speed ββand Turn Meter
In Raid: Shadow Legends, each champion unit has a Turn Meter, visually displayed as a yellow bar below their health bar. The champion can perform actions if their Turn Meter is fully charged during your turn. The Turn Meter’s charging speed depends on their Speed ββ(SPD) stat. If a champion has a high SPD, they can perform actions or attack more than once per turn. Additionally, on your turn, champions with higher SPDs are prioritized to act first, followed by champions with lower SPDs.
Debuff, RES and ACC
Like other games, Raid: Shadow Legends features a Debuff system to limit the power or actions of enemy units. Some skills can inflict Debuffs on opponents, such as reducing stats, applying crowd control effects, or disabling actions. These Debuffs take effect immediately upon being applied to a target, but will wear off after one or several turns.
Targets can resist Debuffs. The probability of a target resisting a Debuff depends on their RES (Resistance Points) stat. Conversely, there is a stat that reduces the enemy’s resistance to Debuffs: ACC (Access Points).
