Flippy Knife is a hyper casual game with simple 3D graphics. The game is developed and published by Beresnev Games for the Android and iOS. The entire gameplay of the game focuses on physics and requires dexterity from the player.
Introduce about Flippy Knife
Like the name, the gameplay involves throwing and controlling knives. When the game starts, you will be given a knife. What you have to do in Flippy Knife is toss your knife up so that it sticks its blade lands in the designated spot. You can toss the knife by touching any location then swipe your finger. After that, you can release your finger so the knife is tossed into the air. The direction your finger swipes will also be the direction the knife is tossed. The further you swipe your finger, the stronger force you toss your knife.
Your knife will also spin until it lands on any objects. As mentioned above, the knife must stick its blade to the objects. If the knife touches the ground with its handle, it will have no effect in the game. Each level gives you a certain number of knives. If you use up all your knives before completing the level’s objective, you will fail that level.
Game modes in Flippy Knife
There are 7 modes with different gameplay styles in Flippy Knife. Each mode also has many levels for you to enjoy. At the start of the game, you can only access 2 modes: Combo and Boom. As you progress through the game, you can unlock the remaining modes such as Arcade, Target, Climb, Fight and Race based on the number of knives you own in the collection.
Combo is the simplest game mode. You just need to toss the knife up so that it spins as many times as possible. Of course, the knife blade must land on the ground for your result to count.
Boom is the second mode you get access in Flippy Knife. In this mode, you need to throw your knives to destroy the planks, and finally destroy the bomb that is placed under the planks.
Target is the third mode that can be unlocked after you have 14 knives in the collection. In this mode, you will be assigned a target. Try to throw the knife so that it accurately hits the designated target.
Climb is the next mode unlocked after you collect 20 knives in the collection. This mode challenges your patience over a long period. You will throw the knife upwards, aiming to hit objects that can hold the knife in place. Continue this process until the knife reaches the highest possible height.
Fight mode unlocks after you collect 40 knives in the collection. Unlike other modes, this is a competitive mode. You will fight with the goal of defeating your enemies.
Race is the final mode in Flippy Knife, unlocked after completing 400 platforms in Arcade mode. You’ll race against time, overcoming obstacles to reach the finish line.

Flippy Knife features a total of 126 different knives for you to collect. You can buy new knives using Coins earned through gameplay, or collect them through various in-game activities. Each knife has a different shape, some special knives may even resemble swords or guns. In terms of gameplay, each knife has a different weight and amount of gold earned after each spin.
