Story
The story in Medieval Defense & Conquest 2 begins with a challenging journey. The expedition team received orders from King Rafael II to leave their homeland to set sail in search of new land to build a life. After many weeks drifting in the middle of the ocean, they discovered a potential island on the far horizon. The captain quickly realized that this was the ideal land to live and develop long-term.
However, this journey was not easy. Because it was an exploration trip, they brought very few materials and manpower. Everything must start from makeshift tents, waiting for reinforcements from the royal kingdom. While waiting, they face a more serious problem, which is that the native residents do not welcome them.
The surprise attacks continue to occur, forcing the commander to quickly organize defenses, while continuing to build the base. The game puts you in the position of a leader in that tense time – where every decision can change the situation of the entire settlement journey.
Combat mechanism
In Medieval Defense & Conquest 2, the combat system is built in a simple but addictive style. The way it operates is somewhat similar to the famous game Stick War: Legacy, when players will create troops and let them automatically rush into battle. However, the special point lies in the way combat resources are managed – specifically Human Resources.
Each time you start a level, you will have 12 Human Resources. Summoning a unit will cost 6 Human Resources, so players need to calculate properly to maintain a strong enough army. Human Resources are restored over time, so you can choose to call troops continuously to put pressure, or keep a stable pace depending on the situation of the match.
In addition, you can also take advantage of many different defense units to increase tactical depth. Choosing the right type of troops, coordinating with the defense system can create a great advantage against waves of enemies. This is the factor that makes the game more attractive after each level.
Building a base
As soon as you set foot on the new island in Medieval Defense & Conquest 2, the beach will be where you start your settlement journey. Outside the defensive fence is the main area for you to build a base. Due to limited conditions, the first building you can build is the Merchant House – which brings in income from commercial ships.
Each shipment takes a long time to complete and operates in real time. Therefore, you have to wait patiently.
