Choose your faction
There are 3 main factions in Spellstone that gamers can choose from when starting out. These are Wyld, Fiery Chaos, and Nimble Aether. Each faction has its own characteristics so the choice is quite easy. After choosing a faction for themselves, gamers need to collect its cards. Each faction will have hundreds of creature cards to collect, upgrade, and combine.
Tactical mechanics with cards
After getting a few cards, you should be ready for battles. Spellstone offers over 96 levels with endless rewards to explore and conquer. In each level, you will fight the enemy with the mechanism of using cards. Your goal is to defeat their commander to win. To do this, you need to use your cards to discard the enemy’s cards.
Each card will have 2 important stats, Health and Attack. It will disappear from the battlefield if the Health stat is only 0. Besides, gamers can rely on the Attack stat to know the card’s ability. Sometimes a card has a low Attack but a high Heath, useful for defense. In contrast, cards with high Attack will be suitable for offensive tactics.
Note: Each card in the game has one more attribute, called Delay. This attribute indicates how many turns a card takes to activate. If Delay is 2 then it will need to wait 2 turns to start being used. This is also a factor that affects your gameplay.
