Dead Ahead: Zombie Bike is an endless runner game with a post-apocalyptic zombie theme. In Dead Ahead: Zombie Bike, you and your group are trapped in a city overrun by bloodthirsty zombies, attacking anything that moves, including your own kind. You’ve acquired a bike. Your mission is to ride it as fast as you can to escape the city. But along the way, you’ll encounter many mutated, bloodthirsty zombies. Drive safely and don’t let them catch you.
Dead Ahead: Zombie Bike features a horizontal screen layout. Your character will ride horizontally, facing to the right. The left side has virtual acceleration and attack buttons. The entire right half of the screen is where you control the bikeβs lane changes. Swiping your finger up or down on this part of the screen will control the bike’s movement in the corresponding direction. You can use this feature to steer your bike to avoid obstacles on the road, or actively ram straight into zombies and eliminate them.
Accelerate your bike
Your bike will automatically move forward. However, unlike other games of the same genre, the bike will not automatically move at maximum speed. In Dead Ahead: Zombie Bike, if you let the bike run on autopilot, the zombies will catch up to you. Therefore, you need to press the acceleration button to make the bike go faster, out of the zombies’ reach. However, if you move too fast, you may not have enough time to react to avoid obstacles ahead. Therefore, keep the bike’s speed at a suitable level.
When your bike reaches maximum speed, it will explode. Your character will not suffer any damage from the explosion. However, this mechanism has both advantages and disadvantages. On the advantage, the explosion can damage or kill surrounding zombies. If you choose the right moment, the explosion from the bike can also inflict a huge amount of damage on the boss. On the downside, after the explosion, the bike’s speed will immediately drop to a minimum. Therefore, activating this mechanism can be a risky move, giving zombies a chance to catch up. This is a very interesting and unique mechanism in Dead Ahead: Zombie Bike, adding a strategic element to the gameplay instead of focusing solely on skill.
Object interaction in Dead Ahead: Zombie Bike
In Dead Ahead: Zombie Bike, everything your bike hits will have a different outcome. If you hit normal zombies, they will be instantly eliminated without any consequences for you. However, for some larger zombies, your bike may slow down. In difficult levels, Dead Ahead: Zombie Bike even features zombies that can knock you down even if you hit them.
Another danger on your journey is the obstacles on the road. If you hit a car, a hole, or a large object, you will fall and the game will end immediately. Smaller objects like barriers, traffic cones, etc., while not causing you to fall, will slow your movement speed.
Attack with your gun
Besides ramming into zombies, Dead Ahead: Zombie Bike also provides you with another tool to eliminate them: a gun. You can tap the virtual attack button to have your character use the gun and shoot the nearest zombie. However, the gun has a limited amount of ammunition and will be useless if it runs out.
Collect items to boost your character
